Ok.. so I try to finalize a data CD with Nero, but itīs not quite working. I wrote the CD almost full at the first time, but forgot to finalize it. Now, today I wrote more and checked the "finalize CD" button, but after that Iīm still able to write data there how many times I like. How is this supposed to be done? Can normal CD players read the data if itīs not finalized?

Thanks, NW

Oh yes... The heading was wrong, but I was so hyperventilated to get this working that I didnīt think of it. Anyway, I just took another CD and it works now.

Nothing wrong with it at all. I thought it was a nice pun - a burning question about burning CDs. :D
Anyway, glad you got things solved.

I have a Nero question of my own - hope you don't mind if I use this thread for it rather than starting a new one.

When I try to make a copy of a CD, I get an error when Nero is reading the CD. I tried cleaning the lens of the drive, using the second drive (have a CD-rom drive and CD-burning drive) and re-installing Nero. Anyone have other ideas? Currently I have to use a ripper to rip .wavs to my hard drive, then burn the .wavs onto a CD which is kind of annoying.
Oh and since apparently everything remotely connected to P2P, burning CD's etc. is suspect or even illegal/immoral in some people's eyes, I hasten to stress that I'm burning legal copies of my choir's performances for all the members. ;)

Not that I know, but what's the error?
