Is this from the story the "Dragon and the George" or is this a for real day that the English celebrate for some reason? If so what's the reason? Who's St. George and what happened on april 23rd?
Here in Virginia U.S.A.it's still 7:55 P.M. April 22nd. -TIME WARP AGAIN- [ 04-22-2003, 07:57 PM: Message edited by: TheCrimsomBlade ] |

I will not cease from mental fight Nor shall my sword sleep in my hand Till we have built Jerusalem In Englands green and pleasant land And for those not stirred by Blake how about reading Henry V. That should be enough for any foreigner to wish he could proclaim with a proudly beating heart "England, my England". A VERY happy st. Georges day to you Charlie and to all our English members. |
