I am just sorry I was too young to have gotten the chance to see him perform (I was only about 10 when he died). And, I wasn't living up here yet when they recorded "Kill Em All" here in Rochester NY. BUT, my teacher for Audio Recording in College worked on that album. He's listed in the comments of the album, Gary Zefting. The quote says sorry about the house. Someone told me they burnt down his house, don't know if that's true or just school lore, though.

I was born in 87' so I'm not too sure who you're all talking about, but that was one of the best times for music ;)
