Can you not use color in your sig text? Every time I try it, it just erases itself and goes back to plain.

AFAIK you can not use any color tags in your sigs. IIRC you were able to earlier but that feature was disabled. HTML won´t work and the color tag isn´t working either. BTW you double posted. :D

Bah, that's not fair, but oh well :D Thanks Willow.

<font color=white> HTML coding is disabled concerning Sigs Gangrell, UBB is allowed though (url linking, picture linking ect..)

Don't know why, but I would love to see the feature come back.

Zirco.. your here ? </font>

I've tried it as well but it doesn't work. I could have type colourful sig text. :(

Xero279 04-16-2003 06:19 PM

If it was disabled, it must of been done recently, because i remember a few days ago Annatar had his sig white.. but now its all plain :(

Gangrell 04-16-2003 06:20 PM

Perhaps we should look further into this...

<font color="gold">Just to clarify: You cannot use HTML in your sig, and it have been that way for as long as I remember. The reason why Annatar's sig was white was probably that he forgot to add the closing-tag in his message. If you don't add the closing-tag, the sig will become the same color, but it will also mess up the board's HTML, so it is not recommended. ;) </font>

<font color=white>Xero, that probably occured due to the fact that I didn't close an html code.

If you leave it open all the text will be colored white (in my case), you should always close your html tags because it can happen that those un-closed htmls can mix in with other peoples posts (like white color mixing in with your plain post, making your post half white half plain

You should always close a tag, I probably made a typo when closing it (something like this < /font> )

So that wasn't something related to Sigs and colours in sigs, just an mistake from my side ;)

[add] Damn you Sir! :D </font>
