Great games like Wizardry seem to be a dying breed. Does anyone have a recommendation for another great FRPG like Wizardry 8 (I've played the Might & Magic games)?

Preferably one with a first-person view and not a 3-d overhead like the Baldur's Gate/Icewind Dale games...

FRPG? Is that a First Person Roleplaying Game?! Never heard the term before...

That would be Fantasy Role-Playing Game... and along with the Wizardry series, I'm fond of might and magic (have you played all of them?). I'm currently defending Erathia in MM7 (or persecuting, since I've taken the dark side).

Along with that, a game of Wizards and Warriors is also enjoyable, and one of the best forums in the 'World is right here on IW. Wyvern keeps it that way... [img]smile.gif[/img]

Played Divine Divinity and enjoyed it, but it doesn't seem to have the replay ability that I'd like.

Waiting to get my hands on Arx Fatalis, which is well-liked here as well (and which has its own forum, too).

Sounds like it to me... although there may be a difference between "fantasy" as a realm (unlike Fallout, for example) and "fantasy" as escapism (where just about everything fits in).
