Yes, and Sturm und Drang, Weltschmertz, and Wehrmacht. But, that is the point. German is a language rich in philosophical and powerful words, many of which have been incorporated into English, but the euphony of the Romance languages is much greater and more graceful. More beautiful languages exist than them, though, notably Welsh and Finnish, which were the inspiration for J.R.R. Tolkein's Elvish tongues.

I've heard Jay Leno speak German once, or at least that's what he tried. All that came out of him was "asengraben". I wonder what that means. :D
