Installed Acrobat just now and I have a question. Before this format I used Office 97 and Acrobat (5.0) and I used to have two small acrobat boxes in word that would let me convert a word document to a pdf file instantly. After this re-install I installed OfficeXP instead and anow I donīt have those two little boxes to click. Does anyone use acrobat here? If so does anyone know how I get those two boxes in wordXP? Edit: I think I need to load the pdfmaker.dot into word somehow? [ 03-24-2003, 07:18 AM: Message edited by: WillowIX ] |
This works in Word 2000...
Make a shortcut to Word Go to the properties of the shortcut and add /t[templatename] to the target Then it *should* load the new template when you open word with the shortcut I don't use acrobat but I hope that helps... |
You can also choose print, use PDF writer.
Donīt use word, but I use Acrobat.. daily ;) |

JC, Iīll let the hubby have a go at your suggestion tonight. Frankly I donīt understand a jot of it. ;) :D |
Those acrobat buttons are actually a tiny toolbar. If you go to the View menu, then toolbars, there should be an acrobat toolbar, with no check next to it. Check it and the toolbar should appear. As to why your printing through PDF writer isn't working, I can't say. Did you try a Search for any .pdfs on your drive? Maybe it is ignoring you and putting them somewhere else?

YAAAAAY!!! I got it! All I had to do was to copy the pdfmaker.dot to the word start up directory.
