Sure is! All the news is usually depressing. I bet her parents fainted with joy when they heard the news!!!!! Glad she is ok, just hope that sickass didn't touch her

Here's a link to a news story on it:

Yahoo news

Tears are coming to my eyes, thinking of the parents' relief at finding their daughter again after almost a year. I think I'd better leave the office now, before I get really embarrassed.

Every so often, good wins out.

Peace and love.

Yes! Sometimes good things do happen. I hope she is not scarred for life.

Well, I know that everybody in our church is screaming with joy! I have got people calling me and e-mailing me all over the place (all across the country) about it! the President of the church, Gordon B. Hinkley, had visited the Smart family when this whole story was young, and assured them not to ever give up on her...that it would turn out alright. I can't remember to quote him word for word, but that was the jist of it all. Well...I had personally decided she'd be found in the same condition as the other children had been. Boy, am I glad to have been wrong!

Woah, I can't believe it! I read so much about the details of her disappearance, and after so much time went by, I figured she was never going to be found, as that is usually the case with most child kidnappings. :( I'm so GLAD she was found alive! Absolutely terrific news indeed!

Man, I hate to be the pessimistic one but she probably will be scarred for life, there is a chance that counciling might work...

Anyways, really happy too. I'm seriously wondering the parents reaction.

Well that's a relief, it's good to know in this kidnapping the child turned out to be alright. I'd heard about it, but I never really heard a lot of the details, but it's really good to know that she was able to live through something like this.

And to the guy that kidnapped her, I can say with all my heart
