Anyone else heard this? Supposedly some French companies have been illegally selling arms and parts to Iraq over the past couple years...Could this have a connection to why the French don't want us going in? Will/should this change their stance? If these arms are of the "mass destruction" class, is that the proof we need for a UN OK? I, as a US citizen, hope we do get the official OK-DOKEY from the UN to go in, but I also hope if we don't get it in a reasonable amount of time, we go in anyway. I wish the need to go was NOT present, or that diplomatic means had worked, but I think the time for such things is past, the time to act is nigh.

I bet one of the moderators will move this post soon...to the temporary war forum. That's what it's there for! ;)
I haven't about that...shocks me if it's true, but I don't think France would do something like that, would they? I mean, with their stance on the war and everything... EDIT: Sorry, misinterpreted(sp?). Companies selling it illegaly, sorry, but shouldn't the government be doing something about that? Man, these corrupt corporations, they only care about profit, that's what really rats me off. [ 03-10-2003, 03:38 PM: Message edited by: slicer15 ] |
This isn't even news When they are flying Mirage Jets...it sort of indicates that they came from France...sort of like the Coneheads.....

Two words: War Forum.
Go there and read up on it. Yes, France has sold military hardware to Iraq, before 1991 and since. |
Not just the French guys, there have been more, including Germany and Russia, and most likely the Ukraine. It's not really news.

Oops, forgot all about the War Forum. I have never gone there, but I certainly will now.
