What the hell is that?!? She calls that singing?!?
Sorry, I have to explain - I just watched a vid of her live for the first time at some American chat show and her voice has, like, dropped a whole octave or something! She sounds completely different live than on her album, so much so that they had to have played around with her voice - Avril and live do NOT go together! Man, I have just had all my illusions shattered! I heard people saying she wasn't very good live and I thought fair enough, she can't be all that bad - but she IS! Argh! Argh argh argh!!! *bangs head on wall for every argh*

*puff* *pant* sorry, I just had to share that somewhere - her voice on the album isn't real?!? That can't be possible!! She sounded so good! But live! NONONO!!

*sigh* Ok, it' not too bad, and I suppose that is her first time...maybe that what she sounds like in a studio...one can only hope :(

Erm...anyone else have to add anything?

EDIT: There are moments when she sounds...alright...so I guess singing lessons are in order...she has talent but it is still very raw.

probably because of some bad sound system. some artist will never go live because of this.

Easy man, her singing can't get you now. Well unless the voice is stuck in your head and then that would practically be hell from what I hearing...what do you mean I'm not helping

Well, just be glad you own the album and agree to never speak of "the event" again :D

You canīt expect much more from teenypoppers. You need talent to shine onstage.. which Avril lacks of course, because she is a product. This is just a dedicated rockīnīrollerīs opinion..

I saw the Brits...she really is total crap when performing live ;)

slicer15 03-06-2003 04:38 PM

Yeah, maybe...or not. Can you believe how bad she sounds? I compared it to the video, and boy! It is totally different! Man........ :(

Timber Loftis 03-06-2003 04:40 PM

She was crappy at the Grammys.

Without computer editing you'd be suprised how many pop artists sound completely differant.

slicer15 03-06-2003 04:52 PM

NO! Not other artists as well? ARGH ARGH!! How can they do that? Why do that to pop artists? Is it because they sound rubbish naturally? They can't find any good singers anymore? *sigh* :(
