This afternoon, my kids had some friends over. My son, 3-1/2, is the principal star of the afternoon's activities...

Came back from running some errands, and my wife and the other kids' mom both remarked that they hadn't heard from the boys in a while.

Went downstairs to the office, where I heard "the boys".

Opened the door to the bathroom, and this is what I saw.

Now, what you're looking at in that picture is just brown paint, not what your conclusions might jump to. Same for the rest of 'em.

These guys tried to explain what had happened, and how they really weren't there. TL, they may be looking for a lawyer...

A couple more shots of the mess they created can give you a better appreciation... and none of these includes what happened to the carpet on the floor!

'Most everything's been cleaned up, although we're going to need the professional carpet cleaners to come in for the final stuff.

Yep, the good lord makes 'em cute so that when they pull things like this, you won't bury 'em in the backyard... Of course, the problem is that they were acting like normal three-year-olds, experimenting and exploring. How can you really blame 'em for that?

Well, hopefully the lesson's been learned in that we don't play with paint like that. On both sides, since there are a couple of parents around here wondering why we left paint out and accessible like that. It was in the kids' craft corner, but still...

Too much! I especially like the photo of the kids. Such expressions. I can almost imagine what devilish lies their three year old minds are brewing. Good work, Bungleau!

Just wait till they try to make you breakfast in bed!!! Or try to fix your car the next time they hear you complain about how it runs. Somehow my two oldest boys when they were 5 & 4, loosened all my lug nuts and two wheels fell off when I backed out of the driveway. They heard me tell my wife about having a flat tire, so they decided to fix it so I wouldn't have any more flats. I was an hour late for work, but I just couldn't bring myself to let them know I was mad, and by the time I got to work I was laughing about it!!
