Some of you are thinking Sythe (ITS NOT SCYTHE) it says so at the bottom when you registered I know that well. But I know some legends like the greaty deity the creator the GOD of the forums the one and only ZIROC!! have been here since the beggining of the forums. Some moderators must have been here since the blueboard. I am just wondering since when did they arrive. And a second question which only the webmaster and some ironworkers can answer.

Why why did the blue board change to the brown board which sorta rested everything.

P.S. Is there going to be another board change soon?

I ponly arrived in the Gen. Con the day after the great troll invasion. Coincidence? YES! And no. I wanted to see what a troll was, so decided to check it out and got hooked into the cafe...some things never change....

sythe, i came here by accident trying to find help for bg2.. registered and left after a bit.. for bout a year.. like anybody really missed me anyways but came back just after the holidays and now im here hopefully to stay....

Some of the really old members have been here since God was a boy. As for myself, I've only been here since March 2001 (like it says in my profile) so I was never part of the old blue board.

I came here to help me fix up my character after Bhodi captured her or whatever in BGII. Then I noticed forums. I read them for about a week or two before deciding to join IW.

Ermm.. All I can think of from the blue board was Wyvern, Larry and Rikard. They're the only ones off the top of my head. I Think they came to the Blue Boards. The members with the lowest member number on the Brown board could of possibly been on the blue board. I know Yorick is number 7. I think it was adam warlock who was low too.. But the first 3 are the only ones i can think of who i think still come.

As for me, I came just after my brother for BG1 help. Then i stuck around and moved into the Gen Con Forums.

Why Ziroc upgraded from the old Blue board to the current one? Because every time Archlich Wah and I raced each other to reach a round post count, we crashed the entire forum and threads were lost [img]graemlins/blush.gif[/img] :D (ah, the glorious days where spamming for ranks did not exist and kids knew how to behave [img]tongue.gif[/img] ;) )

Ummm... yeah. But like I said it was because the old forum crashed too often - if a thread had 100 replies we all got jittery because it might crash the board. :D

EDIT: Beau, there were many more people on the blue board than the three you mentioned. Even Cloudy was there a few months before we switched (IIRC). Apart from her and the ones you mentioned, there was LadyZ, Lord of Alcohol, Epona, Draconia, Moiraine, Ertai, Yorick, Memnoch, Saz (I think, though I only met him through GenD... he wasn't on the old BG board I think), Wolfgir, Donut (Son of Donut), SirTainly, Ramon, Reeka.... and a whole lot more - sorry if I left out any important names!!!

I lurked for weeks before I actually joined. I did a search for help with BG I in May 2001, and got my answers straight on the first page, without having to post. It took another two months for me to actually register and start posting. I still miss Lioness' pool parties... :(
