Is it getting cold in here... or is it just the Universe?

"It will dissipate and peter out, as opposed to the alternative of having the universe close back in on itself. If you had to chose how the universe would end, by fire or ice, this is the ice answer."
Makes me think of a T.S. Eliot quote (slightly altered:)

"This is how the universe ends
Not with a bang but a whimper"

It's so darn fascinating. You see it here in the paper, and yet it's something untouchable. Weird...

A universal consistancy?

*rubs chin* perhaps...

Noteice how scientists can't identify the deep space matter...

it's gotta' be dark matter, which means theres bound to be something beyond it... Just imagine what it must be like O_o

You could keep going out and out and eventually the sky gets white or something and dark stars start drifting away until its all a little black dot >_>

Why is that? This doesn't give any new twists on any of the old debates. It's still obvious that the Big Bang is a tool of God as is this dark energy and dark matter is something we haven't descovered much about yet, but we will :D

Sounds like fun to me! We better live up the 20 or so billion years we have left!
