a dumb question: how much does everyone spend in a month on food?? not fast food but going to a grocery store?

I've never really thought about it, probably in the 30-50 beaverbuck range per week, so say about cdn$175 per month.

since i live with my sister and her family, i spend about 300 dollars a month on food for all of us...

I probably spend the same, around $300 per month, and I'm only buying for two people LOL. But I never bargain shop, just get whatever (which is usually over priced crap). This doesn't just include food though, but grocery stuff, i.e., cleaners, TP and paper towels, soap, shampoo, toothpaste,... pet food and supplies, batteries, etc. etc. etc. And I PRIDE myself on how quick I go through the checkout line. I got my cash, or my ATM card in my hand, I'm ready to go, let's move lets go I'm with the program, I'm not slowing anyone down, not like some of those "others." :D [img]tongue.gif[/img]
