I guess we tend to think it odd when a famous person shoots someone. It just seems so unlikely, as if they couldn't possibly have done it. Fame, of course, does not make a person more or less innocent and if he did commit murder he is just as guilty as the average person. It's just such a waste when a murder is committed.

I do agree with you Skywalker. I don't know any statistics but I kind of guess (rightly or wrongly) that it's usually the poorer classes that shoot each other. It's such a shock that someone who on the outside seems to have it all, the world at his feet almost, can for some psychological reason be driven to an act such as this.

Obviously my words are supposition. We don't yet know he done it. There's no harm in discussing it however.

I read on another forum that the victim was Lana Clarkson, but I've not been able to verify. If so, she starred in Deathstalker(1984) and Barbarian Queen(1992) among others. This caught me by surprise as well. Even more sad.
