Does anyone have any good sayings or motto's? if you do please share. Here are some of mine

the grass might be greener on the other side, but i bet it rains more.
you are a unique individual, just like everyone else.
the early bird may catch the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.

No terribly wise sayings but I like those unintentional ones that people say on TV which sound ever-so wise :D like this:

"I don't make predictions, and I never will"
"After a goalless 1st half, the score is nill-nill"

I can't remember any more at the moment

If I asked you for sex, would your answer be the same as the answer to this question ?

Colemanballs - always a classic! :D My current fave of those:

Q: Do you think he is a natural defender?
A: No... but I think he could become one.

As for mottos or sayings, how about Billy Pilgrim's motto from Slaughterhouse 5: "God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom always to tell the difference."

Never argue with a fool. People watching might not be able to tell the diffrence.

He who fights and runs is wasting a lot of precious running age with all that fighting

I have a bunch on my homepage but my favorites are:
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.
I think animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.
And
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I like the quote from daan, very cute :D

when someone want to argue with me ( like in this ironworks ). I keep on telling myself. " I'm always right, you're always wrong! ". This way, it will stop me from typing something that will prolong the arguement. and it works!
