Does someone here know a good host who would have the following..

*free
*php support
*no ads, well at least no banners
*shows everything

The first three are obvious, the last one stands there because a host I tried today was almost perfect, had no ads and supported php, but didn´t show any pictures.

I need this to test scripts which will end up to our schools project pages..

All suggestions are welcome.

Right- I've compiled a list of free ones which support PHP and have no adverts.
There are many more if you are willing to have Pop-ups/banners but then no adverts is always better.
Also, bear in mind, these are only the ones that I was certain support PHP, there might be others.

Fairmount
(Uses FTP uploading only)
This one is very good, but only worth trying if you are planning a larg-ish site that is worth the hosting, as it says, it's competitive.
Also, a bit of a waste of space if you only want a small personal site.

Host.sk
(Uses either FTP or Telnet uploading)
This one seems to be a brilliant all-rounder... if you can speak slovakian it would be perfect fr you.
I dunno, maybe look for an English section.. might work.

NeoPages
(Uses FTP or browser upload)
This one looks good- it says you must already have a site- but you could just make some one page thing on any old free provider for these purposes.
As well as PHP it supports CGI and ASP, and also has a load of other bonuses.

ThxTo
(Browser upload)
This one looks oaky, supports PHP and SSI, not as much space as some of the others but that shouldn't matter if it's a personal site.

That's all to hand...
