Baldur's Gate, Amn, Tethyr, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter, Myth Drannor, etc... is it just me or did the developers/authors of all that I've played and read decide to screw the East side of Torril out of good stories? Is there any reason for this, or haven't I played/read enough yet?

Have you been to the East side lately?
Guys selling drugs on every corner, wino's passed out in the gutter and sleaping on park benches. Not a day goes by without some sort of drive-by knifing in the streets or trail rage of some sort. Property value has decreased drasticaly, big corporations have stopped investing, it's a real mess over there. |
No, the east side overpriced all the interesting characters out of the picture. Especially the Upper East Side. You'd have to be a billionaire to live there now. Nothings open late up there. The East Villiage is still pretty good though. Much cleaner than it used to be though. Possibly why no stories are coming out of there.
