I went to start a new game of baldur's gate the other day and to my great frustration found one of my baldur's gate 1 cd's to be scratch and apparently unrepairable. I can't stand to start at BG 2. It's all because of 3 files the disk won't read. Does anyone know where I can maybe find the files? Or will bioware replace the cd free of charge? This is quite an upsetting set back. Maybe time to buy NWN?
I would have posted this one a BG1 forum if there was one on this website. But I don't think it is that much off topic here. [ 06-24-2002, 05:42 PM: Message edited by: Orion ] |
Yes, time to get NwN. So absolutely.
Anyway, for more help, try maybe the BG1-forum? ;) |
This should be on the BG1 forum, but who cares. The problem and soloution are universal - go bug bioware for a new CD. I dont think itll be free though.
Alternatively any disc where the metal film itself is intact can be rapaired, but this is definatly not cheap. |
