AS a site, since '94. WHich is an eternity in internet terms.

This forum is about 2 years old I think, but before that there was the blue board which went back a bit further.

I think the forum is way older than 2 years [img]tongue.gif[/img] I've been foruming for a while, and belive me, people with 10,000+ posts don't pull off numbers like that in 2 years [img]tongue.gif[/img] Even if they are diagnosed with Cloudbringer-ism [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Sorry DK, but the brown board is about 2 yrs old. ;) The tge web sites are older than that and Ziroc has had some form of site or bulletin board for much longer than that, before Ironworks existed.

i was here during the blueboard time... different account. and i hardly post only lurk sometimes here. but still its nice to be in IW [img]smile.gif[/img]

I started the 'Ironworks' area and Forum the day Baldurs Gate 1 came out. (1998?) but the area 'The Great Escape' was up since March or April 1994.

The 1st forum for Ironworks was that crappy forum software that the OLD Interplay forums used up until a year ago. It sucked, so after a few months, I 'merged' the Ironworks forum with my "Great Escape Forum" --which was the Blueboard. (So much better) [img]smile.gif[/img]

The Great Escape website is nearly 10 years old (in 2004) and Ironworks Forum is almost 5 years old!

Expect another 10 years atleast! ;) and I'm sure in 5 years or so, the bandwidth like a T3 will be as cheap as cablemodem speeds are now, so we'll have even faster bandwidth as things become cheaper!
