I'm soooooooooo ready for TTT!

I bought the DVD Collector's Edition of LotR a few weeks ago, but I haven't watched it yet. My wife, her uncle, and I are going to watch it Tuesday night, and then go watch TTT Wednesday morning! Woo-Hoo!!! :D

Enjoy, Ronn. <fonr color=lavender>Galadria and I won't be going until later, but I know that you will have a good time.

I envy you Ronn! But one thing you'll have to promise: Please don't tell anything about it here. If you do, I'll have to read it (my curiosity will kill me one day ;) )

Ronn_Bman 12-14-2002 10:45 AM

I promise I won't drop any details, but I will let you guys know how great it was! :D

I can't believe I actually took the day off work to go to the movies, but I worked the Friday after Thanksgiving, so I had that holiday to use up, and since our theater has a morning show on Wednesdays, I couldn't pass it up. ;)

Ok then - ENJOY!!!

Sometimes you have to take off work. Otherwise you won't have time for the important things in life

1030...

Wednesday morning...

Less than 72 hours left, and I'm stoked!

Actually, I'm almost as excited about watching the new Collector's Edition LotR DVD, for the first time, Tuesday night as a build up for TTT.

Anyone else going lazy, hardcore, and/or obsessive by taking the day off to check it out? ;) :D

Leonis 12-15-2002 07:59 PM

 Damn! We don't get it till boxing day!

I have to admit that I thought about doing the very same thing, Ronn. But the theater I will be going to doesn't have it's first matinee until 2 or 3 in the afternoon.....so I might as well work until it's time to leave for the show.

But make NO MISTAKE....I WILL be leaving work early that day. :D

You too??!!! Hey I have a better story for you.

What I will be doing on December 18th:

*December the 18th is my fourth year wedding anniversary.
Dinner Theatre planned at 6:30pm

*December 18th is the day I have on my ticket for TTT, that I have had for weeks.
Time: 12:00pm

What I will not be doing on December 18th.

*December 18th is my work's Christmas Banquet.

Tough choice??? Nope. ;)

That my friends was awesome!

Since all three were filmed at once, I had little doubt TTT would be every bit as good as LotR, and despite my high expectations, based on LotR, this film did surprise me by going above and beyond. One of those films where time seems to warp by, and you can't believe 3 hours has already come and gone. :D

If you're wondering if your local theater will accept your free pass from the Collector's Edition DVD, I can only tell you my theater wasn't one listed, but they took it with no questions asked.

Since I went to the early show, it was only worth $5, but after buying the first release DVD and then the Collector's Edition when it came out, I would have been pissed if my free pass hadn't been accepted...lol.
