I know some of you fans of other colleges believe your rivalry are the greatest, while the rivalry may be intense, Oklahoma vs Nebraska, Teaxs vs Texas A&M. They don't compare to the vitrol rivals Alabama & Auburn. Here in the state of Alabama there are 2 camps and only 2 camps, there are ledgends of other camps trying to start up but all have been squashed :D

There is the Childern of light, the Keepers of the Flame, Sons of Glory who like the Roman legions kept the Barbarians at bay. Yeah varily, like the Knights of old strode across the wilderness beating back waves of evil orcs. The Daughters and Wives of Light are the envy of all males throught out the civilized world, for they know how many yards it takes to make a 1st down, they can reconize Illegal procedure, Holding, Pass interferance, and from early childhood know what a Clip is. Husbands and sons of glory are likewise envied, we are skilled in the arts of pleasing our wives in ways that would make the Drow males slink away in shame. Our abilities in preparing dinners from the 4 basic food groups, Bar-B-Q, Pork-rines, Grill cheese, and Beer is unequaled in the world. The War Cry "Roll Tide" has brought fear in our enemies for generations. :D

Then there is the others, the childern of darkness, the extingusers of the flame, sons of disgust. They perform all manners of evil and debachery, animal sacrifices, cannibalism, fornication between brothers and sisters, yeah varily base acts with their farm animals. Their War Cry "war eagle" is used only by the Sons of Glory to scare their childern at night. :D

When you talk of big rivalries, the discussion should start and end with Michigan vs. Ohio State. Two traditionally strong teams that HATE each other. Everyone goes into a frenzy over this game. I don't know of a place where an 11-1 season, where the one game you lost is to the rival, is a bad season. It is intense.
