It happened in madagascar (is it spelled wrong?). It was a final match, but early in the first half an away team's coach was SO brassed off with the refereeing he ordered his team to score own goals the entire game :D .

So the final score is 149:0.

Seems a strange way to complain about the refereeing. But what do I know? ;) I would think it would be demoralizing for the team to lose by so much.

And for those who don't believe this... It really happened; in a match between AS Adema and Stade Olympique l'Emyrne. They broke two world-records: the highest number of goals AND the highest number of own goals in one match. And for the record: if you're calculating the time it would take to score, it would be about 36 seconds per goal.

I don't think I have even heard of an American football ever scoring that much, and they get 6 points a goal with a chance for an extra one or two.

In an old college football game (early 1900s) Georgia Tech scored 255 points in a game.
