This could either be very good or very, very bad. What are they thinking? Edit: Copeland's involvement lends it a lot of cred though...hmmm.... Edit:Edit: Quote:

I assume they're running out of money? Yikes.
|
That is odd. Without Jim Morrison I doubt this will go very far

I always thought Ian Astbury was a Jim Morrison wannabe.
|
I've heard some snipits of their stuff and it's very good. Ian Astbury does a respectable job of filling in for Jim. mmmm I wonder if I have enough vacation time for a trip to Vegas next month

I think this can become really good! Noone can compare to Morrison, though, but the music I think can be great. Manzarek and Krieger actually wrote just as many songs as Morrison himself, so the music probably will be 'Doorsish'.
Beeing a great fan of The Doors, and having almost every of their albums, I truly hope that this goes well. |
*Gets out his air guitar and plays along with Dinsmore in "Light My Fire."*

WeŽll see what people say to it. I love many classic rock bands, but I strongly dislike The Doors.

Two out of four Doors, does not a reunion make.
Why not just call it "Krieger Manzerak" or something more truthful? [ 11-22-2002, 06:49 PM: Message edited by: Yorick ] |
