Im just sharing a very bad experience with you all so that you dont get caught in the same trap that I did. I have always ordered things over the internet without any problems, but recently I got badly ripped off by a particular site. DVD.com charged me for DVDs and never sent them. They then never responded to any of my emails, phone calls and faxes. I have since found out that they do this regularly and are basically criminals. Do not get caught in the same net. Avoid DVD.COM completely and save yourself the frustration.

Didn't you inquire about this a bit ago? Oh well - thanks for the warning.

So you didnīt get in touch with them at all? You did get their phone number and such didnīt you? Anyways Iīm sorry to hear that :(

I seem to remember this from a while back, and it's a shame that you had to find out the hard way. Perhaps if you can find other people in the same boat, you could file a lawsuit against DVD.com?

If you paid by visa/mc did you give them a heads-up? They take mail order/internet fraud very seriously.

Yeah Avi, have you tried to contact your bank or whoever issued your credit card ? </font> [ 11-19-2002, 07:30 AM: Message edited by: Warhammer ] |
If you notify your credit card company in a timely manner, than will reverse the charge.

Yeah, if it's Visa they have always done it for us. They'll probably blow the whistle on the company too, and if someone like Visa can get some pretty good evidence on fraud.
