That girl I've been trying to hook up with, she said she had this cd of some opera thingy... Being the way I am, I hate opera's, cause all they are good for to me is headaches(that's just my opinion). But she knows I like rock, metal and alternative. But she says its like a german death metal... That would probably be the coolest opera cd ever. Well, she's gonna force me to listen to it.. So I will tell you guys how it is ok?

well good luck then personally i dont mind the opera thingie

Well, you could prepare yourself a little by listening to some Gothic first... Perhaps then the difference between your regular taste and opera isn't that big. But I'm sure others can provide some names of crossover-ish artists in the metal/opera genre. I'm not to sure myself who to mention as I simply don't listen to that stuff... But Blind Guardian perhaps? ;)

Or at least find a decent rock to hide under. :\ Maybe you could sabatoge all of your CD players so that they don't work? ;)

I think Within Temptation is such a band. It's sort of goth.

Try listening to a bit of Nightwish.
