In the underdark, in the illithid city, there is a room that has some staff of thunder/lightning. The table in the room is searchable, but the tab button shows a triangle search area within the table outline. I cannot search the triangle. Any suggestions?

Dunno what it's there for, but you CANNOT get to it. Besides, it is the Staff of Command. Note that the 25 charges of Domination have NO SAVING THROW!! anyways, it has irritated me too, but i kinda figure there probably isn't anything in there anyways. There is a similar thing in the Temple Ruins, in the eye of the talking statue. you can't get to that either, but i think that one is where the Flamestrike on a wrong answer comes from.

Incorrect. You can get to it, and it contains a diamond.

First of all, get a Thief to Detect Traps. Once the trap has been detected, move everybody aside until the statue is under the fog of war. You can now select to disarm the trap. Repeat to loot the container.

Remember, you can still select containers even if it is under a fog of war.
