It just amazes me how far this PC crap tries to go sometimes. They wanna slap an "R" rating on movies that show anyone smoking tobacco. Here's a couple links.

Can you imagine Bing Crosby movies getting the "R" rating, or how many old Disney movies would get it because of smoking a pipe or cigar? I just love how so many people want to blame anyone or anything for what thier kids do instead of looking at themselves.

So smoking a cig makes it an 'R' movie, but lots of violence and swearing can still get 'PG13'? Um, I think something is wrong with this picture.

And all the classic B&W movies - where people not only smoked but SMOKED - would get an R. Like Casablanca. I can only say ...

Dude i dont care what rating movies have, i just watch 'em if they're good, that is of course excluding the explicit materials :D I think i'm mature enough to understand most of the concepts in those movies ;)

All I have to say to these idiots is

In another case of pc stupidity, an LA city owned theater has been told they cannot play the classic Tora, Tora, Tora for a veterans group. They say it might upset people of Japanese ancestry. Well boo hoo! I'd be willing to bet they wouldn't have that problem with Saving Private Ryan. I guess they figure the people of German descent are not as important as others.

They also ignore the historical fact that Tora, Tora, Tora was a colaborative effort by Both american AND Japanese directors. They wanted to have an accurate as possible Japanese side of the story.
