today is veteran's day and for some reason all the schools in my state (for the most part) have the day off...why am i at school then? does anyone else find this to be blatantly unfair? I get to go home and hear my brother yak on and on about how HE had a great day and i was stuck at school doing history assignments...lets ban school on veteran's day! WHO'S WITH ME?!

I thought every school was out on Veterans Day? What scumbags! The school board probably watches Jane Fonda movies and loves Tom Hayden. By the way yesterday was the Marine Corps birthday. Let us eat cake [img]smile.gif[/img]

My wife is a government employee, so she got the day off. At least I could rest assured I wouldn't have to run to court today - they're all closed. ;)

my dad is a veteran and to celebrate on veterans day today, he went to work. School beats going to work any day trust me
