I'm sort a newb to BG2

I knwo the basics but whats the deeper tricks you can give me (no cheats)

also, were do yuo guys know were a good Mod Creator is, and, can I mod without ToB

Trick: A mage or sorceror are the best bets for a main character.

Trick: Try not to have too many mages and clerics in your party. Try some fighters in your party for tanks and fodder.

Trick: When fighting highly migic resistant opponents that you need to hit with magic to win, have a low level cleric cast the fifth level cleric spell Magic Resistance. It will actually lower the target's magic resistance if it is high. Then have a mage cast Lower Resistance, and the magic resistance thing will be all set.

Trick: Put your weakest characters at the end of the marching order. That way, the monsters will see them last and attack them last.

Trick: Save a LOT. You won't regret it.

Treat: I don't know how to use mods.

Read the manual, KNOW the manual. The manual is your bible throughout the game. You will understand the game better with the manual.
