About two weeks ago, I attended a gaming convention in NJ. It was my first and I went to play the board games like Settlers of Cataan, Prince of Persia, Cosmic Encouters and a couple others that I can't remember at the moment.

I saw live roleplaying there and I was astounded. Picture if you will a LARP group going at it in a lobby of a swanky hotel. Elaine Cunningham was there, but since she wasn't RA Salvatore, I had nothing to say to her. hehe

Anyone else into board games?

Hi Hiram! Sounds like a great time.

Did they have Axis and Allies?

I love that game, but it's like PnP D&D for me because I only get to do it once in a great while. :(

I did see that game but didn't play it. I saw a couple of WWII games in boxes but no one was playing them.

If you like WWII games, I would recommend Combat Mission from Battlefront.com.
