Hmmm... The candy corn thread got me thinking about all the candy I used to love. Anyone remember the "garbage can" candy? It was a plastic garbage can that opened up to reveal candy fish bones, shoes and other types of garbage.
Used to also love Fun Dip and the powdered candy that came in a big straw. Yum. I also remember when Popeye's candy "sticks" were candy cigarettes. What candy do/ did you all like? |
Those blue whales are good.
Speaking of candy I went and bought the candy for the tricker treaters to early and went and hate most of it. Feeling very pumped up on sugar. |
3 musketeers followed closely by twix.

I remember when I got too old to go trick-or-treating and my father drafted me to stay at the door. He'd say "stay here until all the candy is gone".
This, of course, led to me eating it all and then shutting the door. |
I'm quite fond of Mary Janes. :D
Taffy with a peanut butter center. MMMMMM! :D |
I used to like Flake, but haven't seen it for a long time. Kit Kat is pretty good. I look back on my childhood and wonder how I avoided becoming diabetic...
Used to like Bottle Caps, too. |
I'd have to say... chocolate (just look at my sig)! It just don't like to have it contaminated with fruit (chocolate oranges are a blasphamy!). Peanut butter and nuts are fully okay, and in fact, are encouraged.
Favorite: Snickers, followed closely by 3 Musketeers and Reece's peanut butter cups. Oh, and the pure sugar that was Pixie Stixs. |
OOOO! What about Pop Rocks! :D
Nothing like sugar exploding in your mouth! I'll get the addy for a site where you can purchase 'nostalgia' candy from my Mom and post it up here soon. |
Oooo, Skittles, Fun Dip, Sweet Tarts, Crispy M&M's...those are all my fav's :D
