As some of you know, my wife and I are expecting our first baby in April. We have picked out a name for a girl, but haven't settled on one for a boy. I'd like a Celtic name of either Irish or Welsh origin. Something not heard often, or with an interesting spelling. For example, we've considered Aeddan, which is Welsh. I like that spelling as opposed to Aidan. Any ideas anyone? If you also know the meaning of the name, that would be cool, too.

Congrates on the new baby coming. Me and my wife just had are baby girl a little over 5 months ago. Babies are truly a gift. We named her Sydney. Names are such a tough choice to make and I wish you all the luck in chosing one.

ps I will get my wife on the choices. She is much better then me.

I used this site to help me pick names for characters in a book I was writing:

family.msn.com

also, these sites might help also:

parentstages.com
babynames.com
eponym.org

Hope this helps.

You could always *make* up a name Arnabas. For some reason people do that *a lot* down here! Example of extremely long messed up name. Shantania, or Dontavius. Why???
