Oh boy... this is one of those HUGE dual trailor FedEX Trucks--the cab (front of the semi) is not hurt at ALL (It didn't explode because of the gas tanks, so WHAT happened?

Didn't they release a terror alert about trains or transportation being targeted? I wonder if someone put a bomb in a fedex package and hoped to get it ON the FedEX planes.. maybe it exploded early?

Always something, huh?

NOOOOO!!! What if my imported copy of Metroid Prime was in it! It would have to go through New Jersey for sure to get here... but probably not by truck >_>

Z is right that it wasn't gas tanks exploding, Semi's burn Deisel which is not in the habbit of exploding spontaneously. </font>

Nobody was hurt.. BUT: If it is a bomb, how many OTHER planes, trucks might have a bomb in them.

I hadn't heard about this. I agree. I hope noone was injured/killed. I sincerely hope it was some sort of freak accident, and not a terrorist attack. My Mom works for Fed Ex, and my Uncle and cousin drive semi's. Hmmm...think I'm going to go email my Mom and tell her that I love her.

Do you have any links to stories on this? Did a search on CNN and on Yahoo and came up empty. If the cab was undamaged like you say it almost sounds like some sort of presurized container exploded, instead of a bomb. Since it would seem to me that a bomb would have done fire damage to the cab.

I do find it interesting that so many immediately assume a terrorist act before there is any evidence of one.
