Hmm, what does the multiclassing have to do with your name?
Anyway, the strongest multiclass is IMO the Fighter/Mage. Good at melee-combat, and can cast spells. But if you're planning to go solo, I suggest the Fighter/Mage/Thief. That way, the character is all the important basic-classes. ;) |
Strange tittle for a topic...
You should edit that. Anyway as Sir Exxon said figher/mage or fighter/thief. |
Hmmmm... For the melee-oriented person, I would go with the Half-Elven Cleric/Ranger.
Using this combination, you have access to all the Priest spells, both Clerical and Druidic. You get free proficiency points in Dual-Wield. Insect Plague is possibly the cheesiest spell to use against enemy mages. You can also summon buttloads of help, what with the Mountain Bears, Fire Elementals, Aerial Servants, etc... ... For the magic-oriented person, I would go with the Cleric/Mage. With this combination, you will have access to both Clerical and Mage spells. The true power of this class comes when you start mix and matching spells to go along with your Contingencies and Spell Sequencers. You would be hard-pressed to use up all your spells in one battle, even if you have Improved Alacrity( a ToB High Level Ability). Fighter/Mages are basically Mages that have melee abilities. They are only so-so in SoA, but come ToB, their power is increased astromonically, due to the fact that they will have access to the Fighter's HLA pool. [ADD] Oh, and I am assuming you are soloing.
