It would be helpfull if you told us what class is your PC!

Oh sorry... Fighter, Chaotik Good

Well you have the basic 4 classes covered.
It is a matter of what game you like to play.
I play with mages and so I would kepp Nalia.
If you want to drop her then perhaps Mazzy would be a nice addition.
She is a killer with the short bow plus she can tank if needed.
Another interesting option is HaerDalis.Backup mage and backup fighter who can be deadly if used correctly.

When I look at your party and I like the idea of having two mages. As it is you have 3 spellcasters. If you get rid of Nalia I'd go with another Tank like Keldorn or has been suggested Mazzy.

I would suggest Jan Jansen the gnome because he can wield a short sword, fire his flasher, and cast mage spells. I don't see a thief in your party and his lock picking skills will come in useful. While a cleric can detect traps I don't think they can "untrap" them.

Another good reason to kick out Nalia is her constant whining about the poor. It gets boring, especially since you have Aerie in your party and she whines about her lost wings.

Nails, you have NO idea what your topic title made me think of! I had a picture of Nalia De'Arnise standing with her back turned and a note on it that said "Kick me HARD" and the Bhaalspawn character taking a running kick at her arse with combat boots on...ROTFLMAO!!

Ahem...ok, back on topic. If you're in chap 6, and you REAAALY want to get Nalia out of the group, I'd go with Keldorn so you can use Carsomyr; otherwise it's wasted. He's one of the better players, too, if you get him the Gauntlets of Dexterity.

Since Imoen is in the group, you don't need another thief...she can do all the lockpicking and trap disarming you need throughout the rest of the game and on into ToB if you so desire.

This is very unlike me, but I suggest Anomen. He knows Priest-spells, which you are a bit short at, plus that he's a good warrior.
That way, your party would be:

Fighter -->Tank
Anomen -->Tank, good clerical spells
Aerie -->Magic-support
Imoen -->Rogue, mage-spells
Minsc -->Tank, a very few number of mage-spells
Jaheira -->Could be used as a tank, druid-spells

Sounds good.

First bit of Anomen support seen in a loooooooooooonnnnng time...

Helspanth 06-13-2002 11:40 AM

Then you must be missing all of my posts Suzaku! :D
I am an avid supporter of Anomen!
@Sir Exxon
Good points.One slight mistake!Minsc has a small number of priest spells not wizard!(God forbid!!!!!!)
