I just realized something; I have finished the game before, and I honestly don't remember ever finding the Robe of the Neutral Archmage before. I know I found the good and evil ones before; is the neutral one for sale in Trademeet like the good one? I may have seen it before, but I really have had no reason to remember (i.e. I've never played a neutral mage, and this is the first time I've had Jan in the party). Please let me know where I can find it!

The robe of the neutral archmage is available ONLY at TOB.
You get it at Saradush.
Go for the robe of Vecna.It is MUCH better!

If by "that" you mean Saradush then "that" is at ToB
If by "that" you mean the robe of Vecna then "that" is available by the collector's cd.It is sold by Deirde in the Adventurers mart.
If by "that" you mean ToB the "that" is the Throne of Bhaal expansion :D

Actually, I saw someone post a while ago that the Neutral and Evil robes can be purchased (yeah, right, like I'm not gonna shoplift from Drow) in Ust Natha. And you know, Jan's armor is pretty cool, he doesn't even need an Archmagi robe. (Too bad you can't stick that armor on your Berserker with the Defender of Easthaven, then cast Hardiness....) Besides, once he hits ToB levels and gets UAI, his alignment doesn't matter anymore.

You just better make sure to give him GREAT bracers (the AC 3 variety), or he'll need every bit of that "damage reduction" that his robe gives him. His AC really sucks...
