Has something changed, cuz the windows at the bottom used to say Ironworks, not Escape Gaming. Has anyone else noticed this.

ziroc is selling the name so ironworks is changing to escape gamming.

Thats because IW is moving to a new URL. Because we sold IW for 45K and Ziroc has to find a new name. I think IW was better, but thats probably because Im used to it.

Anyway, go look for and maybe bump the annoucement thread. There will be a mail sent to all members, but I gaurantee someone will get lost somehow.

Mail hasnt been sent yet, since the address hasnt changed. Board will look the same. No re-registration required.

Ziroc thinks it will be a simple switch and nothing can go wrong. I think any project where someone is that confident is doomed, but them Im cynical. Anyway, this is all covered in the aforesaid announcement thread.

I have done many changes like this in my past, and everything went fine. I *am* confident, and that is why I've been so successful. IMO.

The changeover will be simple.. I'll send an email to each member, and it'll let them know what is up.. simple!! [img]smile.gif[/img]

Besides, the last time I heard the phrase "simple as turning on a light" used in relation to a computer project, was just before I discovered that half our code woudnt compile on the university computers. 6 hours 42 minutes before deadline.

Well, I hope everything will work out okay... I just know I'm going to miss the name Ironworks. Escape Gaming sounds so... unfamiliar. Will the site be called EG and not IW then?
