Can anyone help me repair my toolbar ?? </font> |
Create a shortcut to your desktop of the desktop launch program, then drag it into the quicklaunch toolbar. On my 98SE system it is at
C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch Hope this works on your system. Pang. P.S.( Was this what you were after .. a shortcut back to desktop ? ) [ 10-01-2002, 06:30 AM: Message edited by: Pangur Ban ] |
I've done that before ;)
I fixed it by doing a search for "show desktop" and then, as Panguar said, dragging it to the bar. |

And now another problem; every once in a while, I get something popup wanting to install something. I think it says it`s MS Office, even though I have the relevant version for my system. Ok, so far no problem. I click cancel, and it comes straight back up again. This goes on for about 20 dialogue boxes. How do I fix this ?? I run Win XP Home; and Install all Windows Updates as soon as they become available. Since this started, Nortons has done atleast 60 full system scans, and I have run Housecall atleast once. </font> |
