Used Ad-Aware once; I had to reformat my entire harddisk afterwards. It has some devestating effects on your ability to store cookies, at least it did on my system... Maybe they've fixed that "little" problem in this version, though.

Never had any problems like that. But spyware dosent like being uninstalled. Maybe you had something unusualy malicious?

Anyway,. normaly you can re-install windows and avoid the re-format when something like that happens.

Hmm strange what version did you use Groij? i have never had any problems with it [img]tongue.gif[/img] and yesterday it removed 124 "gator" files to hehe!
