Ok, let me start this out by saying I totally dislike horror movies. I figure that all internal organs should remain where they were intended, and that all unnatural phenomenon should remain unnatural.
Now, let me also say that before I read this book, I had assumed books less 'conflicting' than movies. I stand corrected. The book and movie- The Relic My standpoint- Ufph! Ouch! and Whu? I had seen a clip from the movie, and it was something I could have gone without. But, reading this book has caused more havoc than those few minutes of visual horrification. I have all the descriptions to map out this creature, but I would not want to. I'm also barring myself from visualizing HOW it killed these people, which is entirely gruesome. I don't wish to spoil the book or the movie, but I leave the rest of this open for discussion. Your views, thoughts, opinions, so on. |
I like both, but books make me sleepy. But like everything there are good books, and good movies, and bad books and bad movies. Take Harry Potter i hated the F****** film it was so cruddy compared to the book. Not that i wanted to watch it (Merlin runs screaming out of the room)
