Errm...this is rather scary...
I was in the chat room with Dundee Slaytern and Calaethis when a little private message came up-from pili18. I KNOW he wasn't in the chat.
The messge was along the lines of:
Pili18 says "Go here! I know you'll enjoy it!"
then a link to a porn website. WTF IS GOING ON?

This happened to me on the old chatroom once. Some woman called lissa.

Thing is, the #ironworks channel *isnt* strictly part of IW. Its part of IRC. Therefore you can be contacted by anyone on any IRC channel on the whole planet.

And the sole reason people have for contacting people randomly seems to be porn. Sucks, but theres nothing anyone can do. Well, in theory you can track them down, but its not easy.
