I'll (hopefully) get Throne of Bhaal soon, so what are the best 1 handed weapons in that game that a regular Fighter can use? I have Grandmastery in Long Sword (just 'cause I like 'em), but are there any real good Long Swords in ToB?

And yes there are a few good swords in ToB:

Angurvadal +4 and +5 = longsword(Fire damage, gives 22 strength)
Foebane +4 and +5 = Bastard sword(Extra damage to demons and undead)
Purifier +4 and +5 = Bastard sword(30% magic resistance,+5 damage CE)
Spectral Brand +4 and +5 Scimitar(Negative plane protection)
The Answerer +4 Longsword(Each hit lowers enemy resistances by 15%)

These are just a few of the good swords there are in the ToB game.

CE = Chaotic evil.

Alright, I'll go there. I thought ToB was included in this for some reason... Oh well, what are the best weapons, including Axe and Flail and Mace and stuff? And where is the Grand Mastery patch? You know, the one that fixes Grand Mastery because it's worse in SoA than the original?
