When I look at anything, in the top right hand corner of the screen, there is a slightly darker spot. It doesn't bug me really, but I was wondering if this is a sign that my computor is starting to go. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

Could be monitor... I don't think the computer would do that. Is it always there, or only in certain programs?

Or more simply, degauss your monitor.

Theres usualy a button or menu option to do it, check your manual.

Failing that, try some local TV repair plaecs, theyll have a degaussing coil and can do the job. Cost you though.

Is there any electro-magnetic inteference near the monitor, like magnets or extreme power sources nearby. If you don't know, just move your PC to another location after degaussing the monitor.

Mark

[EDIT] For typos and spelling.

And I dont have an imac. Cant remember the symbol for it either. Your monitor manual should cover degaussing though, or a mac tech site.
