Don't quite follow your poll questions but anywho...

If you've asked the guy and he's said no then I can see three courses of action to be taken.
1: Pester him until he says yes
2: Subtly show him why you think he should say yes
3: Find someone else

number 1 doesn't work, number 3 isn't the result you want and number 2 takes time and patience. If I had a bit more info I could try to help more

That boy is bad for you. I suggest a small to large size goat. Name him Billy.

You leave Billy out of this, he belongs to me.

I can't believe you'd toss 'our Billy' around like he's some kind of inanimate object to be sold to the nearest buyer...Billy is a Goat - and whatta Goat. I dont think the question is whether Billy is good enough for this girl but rather...is SHE good enough for HIM? - need I remind you of the unfortunate incident back in '96? Involving a certain ambitious sheep and an old beatles album?

Anyway, I refused to vote because I didn't think the options available were appropriate. It wouldalso help if you gave us more background information. However based on the limited information provided, my assumptions are:

1) He is really, really shy and is easily intimidated. Don't pursue him too aggressively or you may scare him. Listen to Downunda's advice (no not the one about the goat)

2) He doesn't like you. You asked him out and he said 'no'. From a guys point of view, if a girl I was attracted to asked me out, regardless if I was shy or not, I would jump at the oppurtunity. He may also be pretending to be shy because he's too afraid to tell you he's not interested. I have been guilty of this before.

3)He could be secretly attached. Although he may or may not like you.

4) You are not female. And he is not gay.

I cant believe you people are arguing about who gets to ride Billy..
What happened to DECENCY???

(at least flip a coin..)

I know i am REALLY going to regret this and the same thing is going to happen as in that thread about someone asking about what "Free Phil! Can I drill you about this?" meant (and i STILL dont know) But why are you talking about a goat called Billy?!?!

P.S. I cant really help you with your problem. I suck at relationships more than anyone i know.

K'tanaqui, is there supposed to be a purpose to all these polls you're posting on GD? If there is, could you clue us in as to just what it is you're trying to get at?

I sincerely hope you're not doing these just to SPAM the board, being that this is the third such poll that you've created. I'd suggest either A) making regular posts instead of polls that make no sense whatsoever, or B) responding to other's threads in an intelligible manner.
