whats Baldurs gate: dark alliance?

can anyone give info? is it continuation to BG series (i thought tob was final chapter).... is it a mod or a standalone game?

Well if you didn't know already, it's for Playstation 2 ;)
But that's about all I know about it..

its a cool 3d game of BG i has gooooood items like ring of strength +15 and lots and lots more

Apparently Bioware and Black isle treat console owners like they're thick and made the puzzles really easy. Everyone I know who has it says it isn't as good as the PC versions.
The game gets hack'n'slash towards the end with puzzles of "the door won't open. there's a lever. What could I possibly do to get the doors open?" type intelligence.
