I've finally got enough money for Warcraft 3, and i'm so happy. I've been waiting for this for awhile. BTW, is there anything i should know, like patches or anything like that. Also, don't spoil me by blowing the game, but they do have campaigns for all races right, so, do each campaign revolve around another race, ex- Orcs vs Humans. Just don't blow any of the Campaigns.

<font color=pink>Lucky you SM, i would buy WarCraft3 if i didnt have the insane fear that my comp will freeze when i try to load it. It has 128mb and is running BG2/ToB, Diablo2/LoD, and Neverwinter Nights. poor thing, lol :D

I love WC3!

Log onto B.net to get the patch, then go play single player. I wouldn't recommend starting multiplayer until you've beaten all the campaigns and know what you're doing.

trying not to spoil you but all the campains revolve around a simular story. The preview is orcs and the first campain is human. Its a good game so have fun and yes play the campains first then go online when you know what your doing.

I bought W3 on opening day and it was money well spent. I'll admit that the story sucked and they rehashed alot of elements from Starcraft but it was still a pretty good game. I agree with Deathcow. Finish single player before tryout Multiplayer. In fact I recommend you practice on some of the MP maps as well.

The story's a bit like what we're doing in 'The Stone Continues', SecretMaster -- a big bunch of undead bozos seeking to overtake the world. [img]smile.gif[/img]

there about 3-4 patches.. just logon to b.net and it will automatically download them.

WC3 rocks. Online there are lots of beardy players, so get ready for armies of dragons or big things. Or funny ones like summoned skeletons. Or bad oens like peasent militia. The patches are quite small (1-3 meg iirc). What gateway will you be using? And waht does everyone else use?
