I don't know why, but i don't think there will be a nucleair holocoust. In a way it's good these things are here, otherwise there probably already would have been some other big war.

I'll most likely be sitting in front of my computer screen wondering what I'll be doing in the next 1 or 2 hundred years...hehe

I chose other in the sense that I don't think any of the options will wipe out the human race in the next 1 or 2 hundred years. But I can see a possibility that all of the options could occur in a limited degree except for a "Golden Age", that I cannot see happening.

There will always be a winner and a loser, a superior and an inferior. The only thing that matters is who, and from whose perspective you're looking at it from. 200 years from now China could very well be the next world Superpower, taking over the USA in pure economic domination alone. That would be their Golden Age. 2000 years ago Romans brought about their own Golden Age with fire and steel as the Greeks bowed out of history. 150 years ago Britain had the largest empire ever seen on Earth. Things change, but the same old players always remain.
