Just because you are dissatisfied with your government doesn't make you an idiot or preclude you from being a patriot. That happens when you complain yet do nothing.

I'd be interested to see more examples of positive, peaceful and contributive(word?) activism if anyone has them which is why I chose to give this it's own thread.

As I pointed out in the aforemention thread, Food Not Bombs is an orginization that seeks to end hunger in America and the world. They lobby to reduce needless defense spending in favor of useful contributions to end hunger. I help out on weekends to distribute food, but mainly I give $$$ because my real job usually has me working 7 days a week.
