I just installed Baldur's Gate and TOTSC on my PC, plus all applicable updates and patches. I cannot get the game to boot up, every time i attempt to it generates the following error:

An Assertation failed in D:\Dev\Baldur\InfGame.cpp at line number 2316


I dont have a problem running any other Black Isle titles, or any other games.

Does anyone know what this bug is due to, or how to fix it?
Any help/info would be much appreciated.

I have never seen that one. I suggest calling Interplay Tech support and tell them Assertion Failure at Line number 2316. That is all they have ever asked me when I call...and I have called for every game I own...
